Chef Jon Taylor, along with his wife and parents own Sand Point restaurant in Miracle Hills.
His food journey began at his mother’s kitchen table with wonderful meals and memories. Taylor worked at Michelin restaurants in the Napa Valley; hotels in Fort Collins, Colorado; and corporate dining environments, along with serving as a culinary instructor.
He has met many New England transplants who appreciate dining at Omaha’s only New England-themed restaurant. Sand Point’s menu generated nearly full bookings during their October 2023 opening.
Hosting a popup food truck featuring Maine Lobster rolls, selling 800 orders during six hours then generating the same demand over several weekends led to opening their restaurant.
