Residental security systems have been the central focus of American Electronics since the company opened its doors in 1980. American Electronics does such a good job earning customer satisfaction that they were voted “Best of Omaha” in 2018. Their reputation for excellence attracted the attention of Atronic Alarms, a Kansas City provider of security systems. Atronic Alarms, which was founded in 1982, acquired American Electronics in May 2017. As the Omaha branch of Atronic Alarms, American Electronics has gained a new name while keeping the same office and employees.
Dan Ward, Omaha branch manager, is the son of the founder of American Electronics.
According to Ward, Omaha customers will benefit from upgraded technology and improved response times. In addition to delivering better service to residential customers, the company is expanding its outreach to the commercial market with fire, access control and camera systems, along with traditional security systems.
“We want to offer the same level of personalized service on the commercial side that we offer our residential clients,” Ward explains.
