Women in Business Lead, Create, Integrate

My husband worked with Digital Moxie Studios on a project last year and could not say enough good things about Margaux Towne.

“She’s very organized and thorough, making working on her sets a pleasure,” Jeremy Wade said. Beyond that, Wade thought she was creative and flexible. Those were qualities, that, in looking at other arts-related ventures in Omaha, were needed by every leader at those organizations, and several of those leaders were women.

br

That’s why our main feature this round is about three arts-related organizations and how the women steering the ships lead in passionate, creative ways.

I remember the first time I picked up the Omaha Star, nearly 20 years ago, and read all the good news about North Omaha. It was a refreshing pace from the normal newspaper mantra of “if it bleeds, it leads,” and I still enjoy reading this metro staple. This article was one I personally wanted in B2B—all the females who have headed the Omaha Star have been strong journalists and great businesswomen, and Terri Sanders and her team are doing a great job of reporting and telling stories in the 2020s.

br

Another feature highlights the Omaha Land Bank, which is entirely female-run, and the last feature is about the first female partner at Northwestern Mutual. We have stories of women driving sports cars, running STEM-based companies, achieving their dreams, and more.

There are many good articles in this edition. I hope you enjoy them all.
