“Hormone health is really about quality of life,” says Tara Dabney, clinic director at Mantality Health (formerly Midwest Men’s Clinic). “When men’s hormone levels are optimal, they feel better and perform better as workers, dads and husbands.”
In addition to adjusting hormone levels if needed, Mantality Health also screens for conditions such as heart disease, prostate cancer, hypertension, and diabetes.
“Primary care doctors refer people to us because they know how carefully we monitor our patients,” Dabney notes.
Mantality Health accepts all types of insurance to make sure care is affordable. The clinic treats patients from a variety of occupations, including police officers, firefighters, and EMTs. They are especially proud to sponsor the Guns & Hoses Boxing Challenge.
“Guns & Hoses is a great event that’s 100 percent nonprofit,” Dabney explains. “All of the funds raised will go back to the first responders. We decided to sponsor this event because we wanted to support the first responders who work so hard to keep our community safe.”
