C.O.R.E. stands for Conditioning, Orthopedics, Rehab, and Exercise, each a facet of physical therapy the practice has offered since Drs. Claire and Mark Rathjen, a husband-and-wife team, opened the clinic in 2015. With an expansion now completed, the 6,000 square-foot facility has become the largest independently owned physical therapy clinics in Omaha.
The clinic sees patients of all ages and fitness levels and both competitive athletes and people who work out simply for their personal health. Plus, both founders continue to be active in the practice. The emphasis is on individualized service, Claire Rathjen said.
“We get to know people well and we care about them and want to see them succeed,” she said.
“Our name is on the door. We treat people the right way and we do the very best we can for people.”
The clinic will be launching some new programs this year, Rathjen added.
“We’re going to have some programs tailored toward strength and conditioning, some for the weekend athlete, and some after-school programs for school-age youth,” Clare said.
