“We do insurance claim handling and consulting for storm damage. We’re very good at that, so it takes a lot of pressure off customers’ shoulders,” he said.

Sometimes roof leaks aren’t immediately visible but become evident as water penetrates substructures and accumulates over time, Ciaccio said. Or the building occupants notice only occasional, seasonal water seepage. A biannual inspection with a roof report ensures that small leaks are addressed before summer rains and winter snowstorms to keep them from becoming big—and expensive—problems.
