Above image: Three decades ago, Partnership 4 Kids started with two couples who joined forces to help make a difference. In 1989, Mike Yanney—aided by his wife Dr. Gail Walling Yanney—started a mentoring program for middle-school youth. In 1995, Jerry and Cookie Hoberman started recognizing students for their academic achievements. In 2007, Dick and Mary Holland introduced these two couples to each other, and P4K was born. This gala will celebrate the work of P4K, and honor the three couples who created the organization.
