Thursdays: The Classic Car Cruise-In at Quaker Steak and Lube is still happening this summer, but they have some new rules. Only 60 cars will be allowed in at a time on a first come, first serve basis. Cars will be parked in every other stall, and spectators may only walk in front of cars. No congregating of more than 10 people. To find out more, park it here.
Friday, May 29: Art Adventures: Animal Mix-Up is happening live on Joslyn Art Museum’s Facebook page. You can learn about art in their collection, while making some of your own. Gather some materials and tune in. If you aren’t the type to have art supplies on hand, free kits for those who need them will be available for pick-up outside of Joslyn each Thursday beginning at 9 a.m. while supplies last. Learn more about this recurring event here.
Friday, May 29: After spending all this time cooped up, TreeRush Adventures may be just the outing you need. They are reopening at Fontenelle Forest this weekend, but they will be following the suggested social distancing guidelines. The staff has been trained to follow rigorous processes for: cleaning and disinfecting high-touch surfaces, guest harnesses, and climbing gear between guest uses. Make your reservations here asap, as spots are sure to fill up quickly.
