Liz Gre and Victoria Ortega at The Slowdown, Thursday, July 8:
Kansas City pop singer Victoria Ortega and Omaha’s own Liz Gre will be performing together this Thursday at The Slowdown. Gre, a Nebraska Native vocalist and composer, is currently obtaining a Ph.D. in composition from City, University of London, and is gracing her hometown with a summertime break performance. Santa Lucia Italian Festival, Thursday, July 8 through Sunday, July 11: 
In Sicily, the Santa Lucia Festival is a time for food, socializing, and spiritual renewal. In Omaha, that spirit of renewal is celebrating its 97th year! This weekend, Omaha’s Little Italy neighborhood is going back to their roots. Head to the corners of 10th and William streets for live performances, fantastic Italian food, contests, and more. Terry Pettit: Leveraging Talent Presentation, Friday, July 9:
Join Sarpy County Tourism, Sarpy County Sports Commission, and Midlands Community Foundation in welcoming Terry Pettit, former Nebraska Volleyball coach, as he presents local sports and business professionals with tools to build strong workforces, pulled from his time of developing strong teams of athletes at University of Nebraska. Heartland Pride Festival, Friday, July 9 and Saturday, July 10: 
Celebrate Pride in Omaha this weekend! The celebrations begin Friday night at Nebraska’s 6th Annual Youth Pride, geared toward the under-18 LGTBQ+ community in Nebraska, their parents, and their friends! Youth Pride will include a DJ set, scholarship presentation, and an epic drag show. The Pride Party continues into Saturday with a daytime parade through the Old Market and a full-fledged Pride Fest at Baxter Arena, including performances from national drag star Chad Michaels (winner of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars), The Voice’s OneUp Duo, and more! Three Dog Night at Holland Center Outdoors, Saturday, July 10:
