Events for Easter Weekend 2021
EXPLORE: Trek a bit out of town for an epic springtime celebration. Master’s Hand Tekamah lauds their “Spring Fling” festivities as “The Best Easter Egg Hunt This Side of the Mississippi,” so you don’t want to miss this 11-year tradition. This year on Saturday, April 3, the hunt will include 20,000 eggs, animal shows, musical performances, and more! Register your family to attend here.
Craft the day away at The Wonder Nook. On Saturday, April 3 at 10 a.m., the shop will read “Curious George Colors Eggs,” and have stations for families to create springtime centerpieces and other decorations together. Bring your own boiled eggs, and The Wonder Nook will provide dye and accessories. Each family will receive a copy of the Curious George book to bring home. $15 per child, $10 for siblings: email [email protected] to reserve your spot!
The Water’s Edge is bringing back their annual WE Community Easter Celebration & Egg Hunt on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. Water’s Edge will gather inside for a special Family Easter Program, followed by a 10,000-egg hunt! The event will have special egg hunt areas for a variety of age groups. RSVP on Facebook here.
The Easter Bunny will be making a stop at the Omaha Children’s Museum on Friday, April 2, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., for photo opportunities, a special egg drop challenge in the Tinker Studio, and a craft station to make your own Easter bonnet. Register for these activities and the museum-wide egg hunt here.
