“We partner with doctors and dentists to make sure they have a successful practice,” says Jeanne Horseman, owner and founder of Midwest Medical Billing. “We work with everybody in the office. We train the front-end staff to gather patient information correctly, and we make sure doctors take notes that are detailed enough to satisfy the insurance companies. I have even gone to bat for my clients when they’ve had problems with insurance providers.” Horseman worked in respiratory therapy for several years before going back to school to learn medical billing. In 1995 she started her own company out of her home, and today she has a dedicated staff of experienced account representatives who work with local medical and dental practices as well as several out-of-state clients.

“The people who work here have years of experience, and we love what we do,” Horseman says. “Other billing services have different people working with clients, but we have specific account representatives who are assigned to each practice. We care about our clients, and we’re available whenever they need us.”
