Bobby Brumfield, Managing Partner of security company Leonum Advisors, said “for top-notch security, a company’s most vital sustainable security strategy is human connection.”

br

Leonum Advisors is a full-service security company with three basic corporate services: building a security department from the ground up, providing supplemental security plans, and corporate training. Security training usually concentrates in three areas: program design, workplace violence and security department management.

br

Genuine care and concern for others is critical. The need and interest in workplace safety exceed cameras, recordings, alarms, and security personnel, Brumfield said. Friendly employee bonding is important.

br

“You know,” Brumfield said, “we tell people we can put cameras all over their building, but the most important thing is solidifying your employee’s core relationship to security.”

br

Brumfield is a former law enforcement detective, Federal Bureau of Investigations Safe Streets Task Force member, and a special staff adviser to commanding officers of the U.S. Marine Corps Regimental Combat Teams. He served in Afghanistan, has been a TEDx speaker, and is considered an authority in outreach, training, and support to preventing violence against women and girls.
