Orenda Fink reads an excerpt from her memoir, The Witch’s Daughter, reflecting on her mystical upbringing. Late-night talks with her mother, surrounded by cigarette smoke and soft candlelight, introduced Orenda to the world of witchcraft. Her mother spoke of magical “pushes,” warning her of the devil’s tricks while sharing stories of mysterious forces.
