Blues Night Out, Thursday, Aug. 20:
How do you get rid of the blues? By immersing yourself in them, of course. Do so this Thursday night by attending the Blues Society of Omaha Party at Stocks n Bonds. A Saintly Celebration, Friday, Aug. 21 to Saturday, Aug. 22:
It’s Santa Lucia Festival time! Finally. This event normally takes place in June, but we’ll take it when we can get it. While this festival honoring the life of St. Lucia won’t be held in the ‘typical’ festival manner (with rides, games and vendor booths) they will move forward with the traditional procession and other parts of the festival, as well as some take-home foods. A Day at the Market, Friday, Aug. 21 to Saturday, Aug. 22:
