Since 2007, Metropolitan Utilities District and Omaha Public Power District have teamed up to host this annual event, which benefits local utility assistance programs to help friends, families, and neighbors in our communities pay their utility bills. This year, the event includes a virtual and in-person option, and participants can do either the timed 5K or the untimed one-mile walk.
