“We are 100 percent driven to meet the needs of our customers,” said Jason McDonald, CEO and owner of General Fire and Safety.
The company’s customer-centric focus is evident throughout its operations, with comprehensive training programs on the latest fire equipment technology, 24-hour on-call service, and even the layout of its newly constructed 16,000-square-foot headquarters all finely tuned to ensure customer satisfaction. “The shop and warehouse are on the left side, the offices are on the right side, and the middle portion is customer-service driven, housing our showroom, training room, and event area,” McDonald explained. The company moved into its new building near 132nd and I streets in February 2022.
Established in 1964, General Fire and Safety is a full-line fire equipment service provider for industrial and commercial clients. More than 40 service technicians design, install, repair, update, inspect, and maintain clients’ fire sprinkler systems, fire alarms, suppression systems, fire extinguishers, and more. “We want to be the one call for everybody’s fire equipment needs, because we can handle it all,” McDonald said.
