A free, fun, family-oriented event will take place this Saturday in North O: Mission Church is hosting a spring carnival that includes food, raffles, popcorn, cotton candy, face painting, a petting zoo, and, of course, a candy dash for kids age 0-12. The Easter Bunny is dropping off more than 16,000 eggs at the La Vista Sports Complex, ready for hunting season in the softball fields. Participants are encouraged to head to the Sports Complex before 10 a.m. to park and stake out a spot in one of several age-group-specific areas, and to bring a food or cash donation for the Tri-City Food Pantry. The Sarpy County YMCA and the Sarpy Pediatric Therapy Center is holding an all-inclusive Easter Egg Dash. The event will include a 5-and-under field, a sensory-friendly field, and a wheelchair-accessible field. Registration for this free event is here.
