Matson was born in Iowa and is a farm girl through and through. This November marks her 10th anniversary at Omaha Magazine.
Initially hired as a member of the sales team, Matson soon moved into roles as a contributing editor for OmahaHome as well as an assistant to the publisher. She loves creating DIYs and coming up with new ideas for the magazine, as well as living at the lake with husband Rich and their sweet dachshund, Hinkley. Matson has three grown children and two grandchildren. In the winter months, she can often be found on a beach in Mexico.
