“As I got into insulation, I just got really interested in the building science and how important insulation was to people,” owner Nate Krieser said. “There’s a lot of times I’ll have contractors send me pictures just to get my thoughts on things.”
He immerses himself in his business and especially loves putting together the puzzles of fancy or older homes that have unique corners and tight spaces. He loves the tough envelopes and the houses that are particularly challenging to insulate properly. “When you have some of these houses that are more intricate, you really have to know and understand which type of insulation will work best in each situation,” he said.
It’s not just the physical space puzzles that Krieser enjoys. He also loves figuring out how the insulation contributes to good air circulation and how to seal houses properly.
“We have so many options. I really feel like there isn’t anything we can’t get done properly,” Krieser said.
