A proverb says a good surgeon has an eagle’s eye, a lion’s heart, and a lady’s hand. With Dr. Jessica Jacobson, people in Lincoln now have a lady’s hand when it comes to cosmetic surgery. She opened her practice in March 2022 and has found that people appreciate having female representation in this male-dominated field.
Patients say it’s refreshing to have a female surgeon and that gives them one less thing to worry about.
“You’re talking about your biggest physical insecurities,” Dr. Jacobson said. “I can help my patients feel even more comfortable.”
That comfort level is a big part of their service as a boutique cosmetic surgery practice and continues through the all-female staff, who understand proceeding with cosmetic surgery is a personal decision.
They assist with giving patients the most comfortable experience possible, even before setting foot in the door. Through their forward-facing online presence, prospective patients know exactly whom and what to expect.
“There’s an ease to feeling like you already know your surgeon, which puts the doctor-patient relationship in a more collaborative light,” Dr. Jacobson said.
