New Start Cleaning Owner CoCo Chairez began cleaning houses in 2017 to help support her mother after Mom was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. As the business grew, many of the women who came to Chairez looking for work were strong, single moms, some of whom were escaping domestic assault. Thus, New Start Cleaning became more than a reputable residential cleaning company, but also an avenue of women’s empowerment.
The name “New Start” resonates beyond the team culture. When a new client reaches out, Chairez and her team will do a needs assessment of the home via a walk-through. Then, they do a deep clean, resulting in a fresh start that leaves the house ready to enjoy and maintain.

“It can be hard for people to let a stranger into their home,” Chairez said. “This is why we value honesty and building a relationship with the client. We have about 800 clients today; many have been with us for a long time and become more like friends.”
