Blake Pittack has built his company on doing the right thing and by maintaining honesty and integrity in a business where it would be easy to cut corners. “We always do what’s right, even if it costs us a little extra money here or there,” he said. “If there’s going to be a delay in the product, it’s better to be honest up front.”
That integrity extends to the quality of service that Blake Builders provides. Pittack started in commercial construction, which uses a project manager as well as a project superintendent for each project. In many residential businesses, the project manager also acts as field manager, but Pittack sees the value in keeping separate staff members for these distinct jobs.

It is crucial to Pittack that his staff keeps clients abreast of all project updates, and his staff structure ensures his company is a leader in his field.
