Offering a variety of styles at affordable prices for 11 years, Ash & Ash Co. has won several consumer-directed “best of” awards. The locally- and woman-owned women’s fashion boutique—named for owners Ashley Shoemaker and Ashley Fehlman—has a stated purpose to help shoppers find unique pieces they feel comfortable and confident in.
“We have a wide demographic,” Shoemaker said, adding that clothing is primarily in standard sizing but that customized items can be ordered in an extended size range. “We have (customers) my daughter’s age who come in here, and all the way up… We have something for everybody.”
Price point is also a differentiator, the owners said, with affordable pricing keeping sales brisk while ensuring that merchandise is refreshed frequently. The two locally staffed locations also offer unique licensed Nebraska Cornhuskers items.
“We custom make all of our Husker apparel and T-shirts,” Shoemaker said.
Next up? The owners are hoping to introduce a private label and an Ash & Ash app, which Shoemaker said will be in the works this year.
