In this SUPER week, campers will take a look at their favorite superheroes and learn about the plants and animals at Lauritzen Gardens and Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo & Aquarium that share similar characteristics. From protective armor to invisibility, and from disguise to incredible strength, they’ll discover the super abilities of plants and animals from around the world and how theses adaptations help them survive and thrive within their ecosystems! Summer Adventure Day Camps provide a unique learning experience for children 5-12 years of age where they will learn science concepts and interact with nature through hands-on activities, arts and crafts and more in indoor and outdoor settings. Campers will be divided into two age groups. Full-week, full-day sessions run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day.
