Intro to Tailoring presented by the Fashion Arts Collective
In this 2 session class, students will learn the basics of soft tailoring and techniques used to make a blazer including pad stitching, lapels and collars, welt pockets, set in sleeves, and linings.
This is an advanced class. A strong knowledge of construction is required.
Session 1 covers cutting, pad stitching, collars and lapels, pockets and sleeves.
Session 2 starting in February covers finishing construction, shoulder pads, interfacings and lining.
