Intro to Sewing presented by The Fashion Arts Collective
Let’s get acquainted with machine sewing for garments!
Students will learn the basics of working with a sewing machine. Basics include straight and zig zag stitching, using a serger, applying elastic, pockets and making a finished simple garment.
Students will learn to read and use a commercial pattern, how to cut out fabric, and have a basic understanding of textiles.
