Dr. Elizabeth Klawitter of Mid Plains Podiatry offers over 20 years of experience in foot surgery. She continues her father’s legacy of minimal incision foot surgery, which means smaller incisions and less trauma to the area. No sutures or tourniquets are used in these surgeries. The types of surgeries that she performs are unique, and she lectures and teaches on this subject matter multiple times a year. Nerve entrapment in the foot is another field in which Dr. Klawitter specializes. She is on staff at UNMC, Boys Town, Omaha Surgical Center, and Advanced Surgical Center. There is also a surgical suite in her office.
