The Zooeys at The Slowdown, Friday, May 14:
Continuing their “pursuit of world domination via rock and roll enlightenment,” vintage rock band The Zooeys is bringing their carefully cultivated sound to The Slowdown on Friday evening. Featuring singer Zooey Rudd, guitarist Cody Hagen, bassist John Douglas, and drummer Cole Yeager, the band honed their signature mood by incorporating influences of all the greatest bands in history and meticulously ignoring the rest. To warm up the audience for the main event, The Slowdown also welcomes indie-punk band The Credentials and A Band Called Hemingway for an evening of Lincoln-native music. Get tickets here!
