Do Good Week by SHARE Omaha, Thursday, April 22 through Saturday, April 24:
Did you know that this week is Omaha’s “Do Good Week?” Sponsored by SHARE Omaha, the next few days are full of days for Omaha to give together. Join in for the final days of serving: Volun-Thursday today, where you’re encouraged to make a new volunteer commitment, and Fund it Friday tomorrow, for you to give to causes that matter to you. Then, of course, join in on Facebook for Celebration Saturday to cheer for your favorite nonprofits as they grow and win cash prizes from FNBO, Omaha Steaks, and Pottawattamie County Community Foundation. Girl Scouts artVenture Silent Auction, Thursday, April 22 through Saturday, April 24:
Join the Girl Scouts of Nebraska for a virtual art auction event to raise funds for the upcoming season. The auction will feature artwork created by local Girl Scouts, in collaboration with professional artists, as well as original works from some of the most talented artists in Omaha. Through modern technology, this year’s collaborations allowed girls from across the state (and other states) to work with any artist, no matter their location. Bidding began at 7 a.m. this morning, and will end at 8 p.m. on Saturday, April 24. Join the Girl Scouts for the livestream “grand finale” on Saturday at 7 p.m., hosted by Kamri Sylve of Lincoln’s 10/11 NOW. Register and begin bidding here!

Omaha Food Truck Association’s Inaugural Food Truck Rodeo, Saturday, April 24:
Make your way to Trucks & Taps this weekend and sample bites from ten of Omaha’s most delicious food trucks! Bring your kids for face painting with Ima Clown, and stick around from noon to 2 p.m. to enjoy a broadcast from Summit Radio. One lucky winner will win a $40 coupon to the food trucks on site, including: Pim’s Thai Food, Anthony Piccolo's Mobile Venue, Hawk’s Pizza, Maria Bonita Mexican Truck, Dire Lion, Big Green Q, Streetside Foods, Mobile Table Grace ,The Churro Truck, and Scooter Dogs. Doggy Barket at Dewey Dog Park, Saturday, April 24th:
Bring your pups on over to Dewey Dog Park this weekend for 2021’s first Doggy Barket, a farmers market for your dog! Grab your leash and take a walk through the dog park from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, grab some chow from a local food truck, and visit a variety of local dog vendors to get some special treats for your four-legged friends. Parking will be available at Midtown Crossing. More information available here.

2021 Nebraska Renaissance Faire at RiverWest Park, Saturday, April 24 and Sunday, April 25:
The longest-running Renaissance festival in Nebraska is back for its 18th run at RiverWest Park this Saturday and Sunday, for medieval history lovers across the state. Bring all of your Renaissance gear out for two festivals in one: an educational and entertaining celebration of both 16th century Europe as well as 18th century Caribbean buccaneers. Come and shop the wares of the annual artisans and merchants, watch live jousting, and snack on that giant turkey leg you’ve been craving since the 2019 show! Get your tickets here.
