John Caparulo at Funny Bone, April 8-10, 2021:
John Caparulo, a 20-year career comedian, will be cracking up Omahans at Funny Bone this weekend. Caparulo has appeared on countless comedy specials on Netflix, CMT, and Comedy Central, as well as on shows like Disney's Fish Hooks. You may also recognize him as the host of Mobile Home Disaster. He's taking a break from his Las Vegas Harrah's residency to bring gut-busting laughter on tour–get your tickets here. 

Nebraska Science Festival Scavenger Hunt, April 8+, 2021:
Get outside and hunt for science! Download a socially distant, scientific scavenger hunt from Nebraska Science Festival and join the race. You'll have all month long to find something that floats, a specially shaped stick, a recyclable material, and more! African American Women’s Herstory Exhibit, April 8 – June 26:

The Great Plains Black History Museum presents “African American Women’s Herstory,” an exhibit highlighting nationally known, successful African American women. Browse a collection of pencil drawings by artist Terry Diel, admire photos and bios of local women of color from Omaha, and other artifacts. Two Drag Club at the Slowdown, Friday April 9, 2021:

Omaha is getting back into concert season with a Friday night of local rockers at The Slowdown. Two Drag Club, modern alt group The Last Draft, and the Southern country sounds of Daniel C. & The Hometown Heroes will be playing the venue this weekend. Escaped Alone at Bluebarn Theater, Friday, April 9, 2021:

Join Bluebarn Theater for a one-night, virtual theater experience with an online viewing of Escaped Alone by Caryl Churchill. In Escaped Alone, we watch four women enjoy their daily afternoon tea meet-up, and, in between, we catch glimpses of a brutal past and a nice, relaxing apocalypse.
