The Last Five Years at Omaha Community Playhouse, through March 21, 2021:
Immerse yourself in the story of Cathy and Jamie: former lovers telling their story simultaneously, Jamie from the beginning, and Cathy from the end. The two tales meet in the only shared chronological pinpoint–at the pair's wedding, right in the middle of it all. Omaha Playhouse presents a new captivating and emotional musical, The Last Five Years. Lauded as "beautifully heartbreaking," this local production is the perfect relaunch to Omaha musical theater for 2021.  OEAA Visual Art Winners' Showcase, through March 6, 2021:

At the end of February, OEAA announced the winners of the 2021 OEAA Awards, in categories from music to performance to painting. This weekend, head to the gallery to celebrate one facet of Omaha's creative community: visual artists. Through March 6th, at the OEAA Visual Arts Showcase winners will have their latest works on display at the Roberta and Bob Rogers Gallery. Learn more about the winners here.

 BFF Omaha Presents FORWARD Short Film Festival, March 5, 2021:

This weekend, enjoy a COVID-friendly movie-watching experience with BFF Omaha's Short Film Festival. On Friday, March 5 from 6-9 p.m., more than 25 short films will be projected onto three different buildings in Benson, celebrating national film artists and Omaha landmarks in one fell swoop. Masks and social distancing will be required at all three locations. Screening locations include Maple St. Construct, Hardy Coffee, and Goslin Contracting. Learn more about this exhibit here. 

 Beyond the Vote Exhibit, March 6, 2021-January 30,2022:

Celebrate a century of the 19th Amendment! For Women's History Month, The Durham Museum presents a special exhibit exploring its impact. Beyond the Vote uses photographs shared from the Smithsonian Institution, images from the Library of Congress, and locally created contemporary art to showcase the themes at the heart of the suffrage movement. How do those same themes resonate today? Explore these ideals at the Durham starting March 6th, 2021. Get tickets here!

 SuperCar Saturday, March 6, 2021:

Supercar Saturday is back for 2021! Roll up in your rides to show off at the season's first showcase, or simply bring your car-loving friends and family to admire Omaha's best cars and reconnect with fellow automobile enthusiasts. This event is free both for entries and spectators, and will begin at 9 a.m. on Saturday, March 6. Get directions to the show here.
