Frank Hayes was in his 20s when he founded Hayes & Associates nearly 37 years ago, and he’s continues to learn and improve daily.

“I’m getting to be on the other side of the ledger, but instead of being satisfied with where we are, I’m always thinking about how we become better,” he said. 

The firm took a major step last summer by joining the national CPA organization BDO Alliance. 

“As a local firm, this membership gives us access to expanded resources and expertise. We feel like we can now do more for our clients,” Hayes said, adding that his firm can now serve as a resource to other member firms. “Our membership opens up opportunities to work with larger clients and clients located in other states and even internationally.” 

Hayes sees his firm enduring for years to come. 

“Clients see that we care about their businesses and the opportunities for them individually. I’m still 100 percent engaged in the business and love what I do, and the people that work here also love what they do.”
