When Jason McDonald joined General Fire and Safety in 1999, the company had 14 employees. Now, as the owner, he oversees a team of 49. 

“In just the last eight years, our growth has doubled,” he said. “Growth is the sign of the trust our customers have in us.” 

General Fire and Safety installs and maintains fire sprinkler systems, fire extinguishers, fire alarm systems and related safety equipment. 

“We are a full-service fire equipment company. For industries and commercial businesses, we’re one call for all of their fire equipment needs,” McDonald said. 

General Fire and Safety helps existing clients manage their systems, but new clients are often in the midst of crisis, like when systems don’t pass inspection, sprinklers are leaking or extinguishers need filled. The company also installs comprehensive systems for new construction projects. 

“When the phone rings, our full attention is on the client,” McDonald said. “We make sure we’re following through with everything they need us to do and that our communication is on point. Customer service is at the forefront of everything we do.”
