Dial Senior Living was founded in 1959 by Omaha real estate developer Don Day, and his family continues to be involved in the business. Dial entered the senior living sector in the early 1990s and currently owns and operates 20 senior living communities throughout the United States, including four in the Omaha area—Aksarben Village, Elk Ridge Village in Elkhorn, Valley Lakes in Valley, and The Knolls in Lincoln. Dial’s portfolio, which includes independent living, assisted living, and memory care, has doubled in size within the last three years, and, in addition to expanding their Lincoln campus, they also have plans to develop in Illinois, Texas, and Indiana.

Dial leads with a simple mission, Love the Way You Live, which is apparent within their communities and at their home office, where the average employee tenure is over eight years. The company places significant value in leading with a service heart and truly making a difference in the lives they touch which has contributed to them being recognized nationally as a best-in-class provider.
