Saturday, June 13: We’ve got another great reason to get out of the house. This Statue Scavenger Hunt offers the chance to explore the interesting statues and murals of downtown Omaha. Teams will set out from the Bob Kerrey Pedestrian Bridge on a hunt to match these masterpieces with a list of clues. This event is hosted by Great Adventure Ministries. Find out more about the event here and more about the ministry here.

Saturday, June 13: It’s probably been a while since most of you have been around people. The Black Lives Matter Cookout could be a great way to test things out while showing your support. There will be music, food, activities, and inspiring speakers. This outdoor, family-friendly community event is offering the opportunity for you to learn and share with others. It all happens in Benson Park, starting at 11 a.m. and ending at 3 p.m. Seating is limited so please bring chairs or blankets to sit on! Learn more here.

Sunday, June 14: Get out of the city and take a little road trip to Bodega Victoriana Winery to listen to some Barn Beats Summer Concert Series featuring Joe McCarthy. Show starts at 2 p.m and admission is free. Sip on your wine, or beer, while listening to McCarthy’s bluesy music. While they do have chairs available, you can bring your own (or a blanket) if you’d prefer. Find out more here.
