Omaha Magazine's Great Plains Journalism Awards 2020 Winners

May 01, 2020 11:08AM ● By Tara Spencer

For six years, Omaha Magazine has been participating in the Great Plains Journalism Awards, which annually recognizes the best newspaper and magazine journalism in the Midwest.

The eight-state competition includes Oklahoma, Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, Iowa, North Dakota and South Dakota.

This year, Omaha Magazine added eight more wins, thanks to our incredible staff and writers. This team has continuously strived to be better, pushing themselves to be more creative and to find the stories people want to read. We couldn’t be prouder.

We would like to congratulate all of this year’s winners, and offer our special thank you and congratulations to our crew and to the people who allow us to share a part of their story.
