Thursday, March 28 through April 18:

Throughout Lent, the folks at Vis Major Brewing Co. are encouraging everyone to donate children’s clothing items at their Don’t Give Up, Give Away ongoing event. The clothing will be donated to Field Club Elementary School. Gently used and new items will be accepted, and with each donation your name will be entered in a drawing for a Vis Major gift card. Friday, March 29:

The Pan African Student Organization is celebrating their third annual African Culture Night in the Sapp Field House at University of Nebraska at Omaha. This is a night filled with African cuisine, entertainment, and dancing. Formal wear or African attire is highly encouraged. Tickets are sold through the department of black studies or you can purchase them online here. Student discounts are available.

Are you AATB (all about the brick)?Obsessed with Legos much? Do you like spending hours building up different sets and showing them off to your friends and family? Then you won’t want to miss Nebraska Brick Days—Omaha 2019 at the Mid-America Center this weekend. This Lego fan expo has members from Lego user groups across the Midwest displaying their spectacular, custom creations. But you don’t have to go just to browse—you can participate, too. Saturday, March 30:

Cirque Noir at Brothers Lounge is a freaky-fun variety drag show presented by Karma Lilola and Ziggy Quinn, two drag stars who are ready to take over the world. If you’ve ever been to a drag show, you know the drill. Bring some paper love for the performers, and in this case, also for the bar as they are a cash-only business. Lilola and Quinn are both producers and performers for local sensation Queerniverse Burlesque, so if you miss them this time around be sure to peep their upcoming performances here. Sunday, March 31:

The India Association of Nebraska (IAN) joins the Hindu Temple of Omaha to present a savory luncheon to benefit Nebraskans affected by the recent flooding. The Flood Relief Luncheon takes place at the temple, and delicacies from all parts of India will be available for purchase. They are also accepting donations of physical items such as toiletries, clothing, and bedding. For a complete list of what you can donate, please go here.
