“If you know you’re going to need short-term rehab after a procedure, we recommend coming here for a tour,” says Jan Moore, marketing director for Old Mill Rehabilitation. “When you’re in the hospital, be sure to let your social worker know you’ve selected Old Mill Rehab for your post-acute care. We’ll review the social worker’s referral to make sure we can meet your needs.”

Old Mill Rehabilitation provides physical and occupational therapy (PT/OT), and skilled nursing care to adults who are recovering from orthopedic, cardiac, and neurological conditions. The team includes Director of Nursing Nicole Moore, RN; Dietary Manager Amanda Barber, CDM; Marketing Director Jan Moore; Administrator Michele Dein; and Director of Rehabilitation Courtney Stroud, OTR/L

“We’ve had patients from 20 to 100 years old,” Moore comments. Most patients have three therapy sessions per day, for a total of 720 minutes of therapy per week. Between therapy sessions, they relax in a resort-style environment with private rooms, internet access, and full-service salon. The 44-bed facility maintains 95 percent occupancy.
