Based on 27 years of experience, James Pull has formed strong opinions about how to install siding, gutters, and roofing.

“I am fussy about my jobs,” he says. “Some installers put siding on the wall without understanding the logistics involved. The windows have to be flashed, for example. It’s all about waterproofing.” 

James started working in construction immediately after high school, and worked in his field for 11 years before establishing Premier Exteriors in 2001. He hires employees who are willing to learn how to do things correctly. “I tell the people that I’m training, ‘If you don’t pay attention to details, you will not do well in this line of work.’ The devil is in the details.” 

Premier Exteriors will install any type of siding, but James’ favorite is Hardie fiber cement. “It’s made out of concrete and silica, so it doesn’t rot, peel, or fade,” he explains. “It’s the best siding available, and I have it on my own house.”
