Smokey & Deb Cornelius

Apr 06, 2018 01:50PM ● By Janet Tilden
With eight locations scattered across the state of Nebraska, Smokey and Deb Cornelius take pride in the company they started in 1997. “We started Frontier to take good care of good people,” says Smokey.

Frontier Home Medical began in the couple’s Cozad, Nebraska garage and they built the business while raising three children. Jack was 1 year old when they started. Today, he and his sister Molly work alongside their parents while attending college. Even the youngest girl, Abby, is involved as she finishes high school. Frontier is truly family owned and operated.

Frontier Home Medical provides medical equipment, service and supplies for a varied patient population—for everything from complex mobility needs to sleep therapy and CPAPs.

As well as offering a full line of wheelchairs, rollators, and scooters, the company also installs modular ramps and smoothly running stair glides that continue to operate even during power failures.

Incontinence support, oxygen therapy, diabetic-friendly shoes and a product line for new parents are also featured at each location. In addition, Frontier administers diagnostic sleep tests in their Sleep Center. It all goes back to Smokey and Deb’s focus on Frontier providing the best care for the people of Nebraska.
